The JS Kongress call for contributions ended last Sunday. And we received over 170 submissions! We are now hard at work going through all of them and creating an exciting program for the conference.

Software engineer on Google’s V8 team. Making your JavaScript faster and better. Regularly teaches Node.js courses at the International Summer University for Women in Informatics. Former organizer of the PHP User Group Munich.
Brigitte Jellinek
Brigitte Jellinek guides the next generation of geeks on their way to becoming professional web developers. She is a lecturer and department head at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Salzburg). She teaches web development (JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, git, Test Driven Development, …) hires lecturers and develops the curriculum.
Christine Koppelt
Christine is a software developer and co-organizer of the Munich Node.js User Group.
Julia Kurt
A Java developer for 8 years with focus on web applications. She works at Adesso Group as a software consultant for financial industries. In her free time she is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) and occasional visitor of MunichJS user group events.

Patrick Mulder
Patrick studied electrical engineering in Eindhoven (NL), but found out some years ago that bits and bytes is not all about voltages. So, after working in different software companies, he re-entered the hardware business in 2014 to explore connected devices. He likes to blog about digital life and he is finishing a new book Node.js for Embedded Systems – embeddednodejs.com
Axel Rauschmayer

Martin Schuhfuss
Martin is a creative developer at ubilabs in Hamburg, focusing on WebGL and interactive experiences. In his spare time he plays around at the intersection of electronics and JavaScript and connects things from the physical world into the web.

Founder of Hackerbrücke, a melting pot for hackers, artists, politicians and communities in Munich, Full Stack CEO of IT:Agenten and Geek Space 9. Developing for Networks since 1987 and started using the Internet via Mail-Gateway in 1991.
István Szmozsánszky
I am JavaScript developer from Budapest, currently working as a Frontend Trainer @ DPC Consulting. I am also a longtime Mozilla-contributor, and work on various open source projects like Firefox, Firefox OS, Rust or the Tessel Project. I’m truly fascinated by the open web and what the future holds for JavaScript, I frequently speak about Firefox OS, Service Workers, ES201x & JS on microcontrollers/hardware — occasionally even caught prophecising JavaScript’s world domination. 🙂
