The Venue

The Alte Kongresshalle (Old Congress Hall) has been a centre for public and private events since it was built in 1952/53. Set in grounds near Theresienwiese at the heart of Munich, the imposing building underwent extensive restoration and technical modernization by the Edith-Haberland-Wagner Stiftung in 2007 and is now an ideal setting where various kinds of individual events can be staged.

The outstanding feature of this heritage-protected and highly versatile event venue is its retro-futuristic architecture. Its severely simple and clean lines are continued throughout the interior and define the unique character of this landmark of Munich culture.

Frau Li

This modern pan asian place is inspired by the kitchens of Hong Kong, Singapoor and Bangkok. A good alternative for lighter food after a few days full of bavarian pork roast.
